Second Housekeeper Disney

* Responsible for housekeeping related activities in all Guest areas including staterooms, Crew accommodations and public areas
* Lead team of Stateroom Hosts, House Persons, and Custodians
* Oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of 175 suites, staterooms, pantries, Crew cabin areas, back of house and public spaces within allocated section
* Ensure reporting of all maintenance issues and inspect completion in timely manner. This is managed through the Espresso telephone reporting system

* Overall scheduling of the team with work assignments
* Conduct daily inspection of designated areas allocated by Manager of Housekeeping
* Ensure all housekeeping areas meet USPH and Coast Guard regulations
* Oversee use and operation of housekeeping equipment and chemicals (such as virox and lemon lift)
* Supervise Hosts on baggage delivery and collection
* Facilitate department meetings; conduct daily pre-shift and break out meetings
Provide leadership for all direct reports; Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
      * Managing personnel files
      * Conducting performance reviews, including discipline as needed
      * Ensuring Project Onboard compliance
      * Monitoring STAR, while making necessary corrections
      * Onboard training, new hire and ongoing
      * Succession planning
      * Crew recognition and communication




Minimum experience and qualification requirements for position:
  • Minimum two years Housekeeping management experience on ships or 200+ room hotel
  • Management experience working with a multinational Staff/Crew
  • Hospitality or Business Management Degree or industry related experience
  • Computer skills necessary (Word, Excel, Fidelio, Espresso)

Contract length: 4 months on / 2 months off
