Junior Galerist Aida

Professionally, successfully, and independently conduct art presentations and art workshops, gallery tours, including conducting sales conversations in the gallery on board to increase OBR

Main Tasks & Duties include:


1. Responsibility for stock keeping and managing the art on board
2. Selling artworks in consultation with the gallerist
3. Preparing presentations
4. Preparing purchase confirmations for the artwork up for auction and give them to the assesor
5. Changing the exhibits as per the Galerist's specifications
6. Packaging the art for transfer to the purchaser or to be shipped home as well as transfer the respective art to the shipping partner
7. Helping and substantially supporting the Galerist with taking physical inventory
8. Immediately informing the Galerist of sales conversations
9. Immediately informing the Galerist about any purchasing interest in artwork for the auction so the respective artwork can be included in the auction
10. Preparing the auctions according to the Galerist's specifications and inform the assessor and assistants

 

Responsibilities include:


1. Complying with all security safety, cleanliness and hygiene requirements
2. Carry out and maintain hygiene standards according to VSP, USPH and HACCP in the area of responsibility, including a proper waste management in order to assure a clean environment




Minimum experience and qualification requirements for position:
  • Studies in art, or culture and art history, sales experience of luxury article
  • Minimum B1 German skills
  • EU passports only
  • Computer skills according to the department’s requirements

Contract length: As per contract
