Directly responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the following Hotel equipment electrical, mechanical and electronic components:
Coffee Machines
Juice/Blender Machines
Guest/Crew Laundry Equipment
Main Laundry Equipment
Galley Equipment, Bar Pantries, Equipment (dish washers etc)
Gym Equipment
Electrical/Electronic control assistance (only where necessary)
Responsibility and authority: He/she will be responsible for:
Perform the comprehensive electrical/electronic and mechanical maintenance (where indicated and trained), repair, routine testing and automation trouble shooting of the above mentioned equipment.
Maintain current records of maintenance and repairs performed.
Help with the continuous updating and development of planned maintenance procedures through experience gained with each type of machine onboard for which he/she is responsible.
Ensure the inventory of strategic spare parts onboard is sufficient to adequately maintain each machine for which he/she is responsible.
Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the equipment for which he/she is responsible.
Participate in drills and training as required by the Company.
Any additional assignment as per Chief Engineer's discretion.
All work is to be requested to and coordinated by the Hotel Engineer.
Ensure that all aspects of company's OH&S are effectively applied during his/her working activities
