Head Waiter-Marella

The major goal of the position is to assist the Restaurant Manager in the Supervision of the
Restaurant Personnel ensuring total Guest satisfaction regarding food quality and service in line
with the Company Rules and Regulations.

Responsibilities
Will oversee a specific section of the Restaurant plus other designated side jobs assigned by
the Restaurant Manager.
Must be thoroughly versed with the Company’s Food and Service Standards, anticipating and
fulfilling Guests needs.
Notifies the Restaurant Manager of any unhappy or difficult guests on his section for further
follow up.
Ensures that at all times the Restaurant personnel follow the Company’s Rules and
Regulations regarding uniforms, personal appearance and hygiene.
Must have sound knowledge of wines and wine service and whenever necessary will interact
with the staff, assisting with wine service.
Will take an active part in the training program for the Restaurant personnel. Pays special
attention to new hires providing guidance to successfully integrate into the team.
Ensures that the cleaning schedule set up by the Restaurant Manager is strictly adhered too,

conducts detailed quality inspections of his/her section.
Reinforces all Shipsan, the European sanitation program and United States Public Health
Rules and Regulations, ensuring all personnel are up to date and knowledgeable of the
regulations.
Reports any misbehavior by the Restaurant Personnel directly to the restaurant Manager.




Minimum experience and qualification requirements for position:
  • High School education or better, degree or diploma in Hospitality Management preferred; five to eight years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Contract length: 6 months

Salary: 2200 USD AVG
