As a Food & Beverage Attendant (Service Attendant), your role will be to support the Captain/Assistant Manager in ensuring that the guest experience is of the highest standard.
Maintain full knowledge of the menu and possess the ability to give detailed descriptions of the dishes, including a basic understanding of the wine list.
Ensure food orders are correctly taken from guests and all orders entered on the Micros system
Ensure that silver and crockery stock control is properly stocked and inspected prior to service
Ensure that table presentation is correctly maintained according to restaurant specific standards.
Maintain the mis-en-place station ensuring it is correctly set up and clean at all times also ensuring that the Runner tasks are correctly completed.
Maximising sales opportunities throughout the restaurant by suggestive and upselling to guests where appropriate.
Assist fellow colleagues to prepare and set up in the restaurants for food service
Provide friendly, excellent service to all guests
