Responsibility/ Duties

(1) Will adhere to the specified written or verbal instructions/tasks given by his/her superior/Executive Chef

(2) Organisation of internal goods request

(3) Economic and commercial food handling

(4) Supervises his/her station in accordance with the entire galley operations

(5) Improves his/her station in areas where necessary

(6) Own quality control

(7) Work in accordance with all relevant safety and environmental as well as hygiene standards in compliance with HACCP regulations, with special attendance to food information and labelling regulations.

(8) In charge of careful handling of all equipment and machinery in his area

(9) Assists wherever help is needed

Qualification / Experience:

§    Qualified relevant training,

§    Several years of relevant work experience (documented

§    Fluent in spoken English and/or German, depending on the vessel

§    Good educational background

Area of responsibility:

To carry out duties assigned to him/her in the Galley / Pastry

 

Deputy in case of absence:

Relief / another cook

 

 




Minimum experience and qualification requirements for position:
