1. Providing the best possible running of the operational organization in the housekeeping and laundry
2. Establishing standard & quality assurance for the concept of hygiene to comply with the hygiene regulations (HACCP)

3. Assuring professional cooperation between all departments on the vessel
4. Coordinating and controlling of the own working schedule
5. Strictly observing and controlling of the predefined working hours
Processes and procedures
Jointly responsible for:
6. Maintaining personal quality checks in his / her department to ensure the required guest satisfaction
7. Enforcing hygiene and impeccable cleanliness in his / her department and the pre-specified appearance in his / her area
8. Daily cleaning of staterooms according to the instructions, public areas (including toilettes), fitness- and sauna (if existing), entrance- and reception area
9. Ensuring the careful storage and handling of all equipment, cleaning material and consumable
10. Assistance with deliveries
Organization and administration
Jointly responsible for:

16. Ensuring conformity of predefined appearance / uniformity requirements and proper body care
17. Immediate reporting of special incidents to the housekeeper, depending on importance also to the Hotel Manager
18. Welcoming guests and guiding them to the staterooms at check-in
Control and reporting
Jointly responsible for:
19. Ensuring compliance with the active and passive information flows in accordance with the organigram
20. Enforcing controlling of the cleaning material usage
21. Assisting with inventories
Special tasks
Jointly responsible for:
22. Attending all official events on board according to the instructions of the superior
23. Participating in the housekeeping meetings
24. Participating in the crew show (if crew show is foreseen)
25. Active support in other areas if necessary and according to the instructions of the superior
26. Assisting in the laundry and if necessary with polishing cutlery (lunch / dinner)
27. Participating in regularly trainings
28. Assisting with waste disposal and crew mess cleaning according to the instructions of the superior
