The Roadie is in charge of the World’s Most Irresistible and Talked-about MEGA Rock Star Service onboard Scarlet Lady , Our first out of 4 New Build cruise ship with 2770 Sailors and 1150 crew. Our Mega RockStar suites, positioned at the most forward part of the ship, are the most exclusive & top tier luxury living onboard.
The major goal of the position is to ensure efficient running of the Rockstar Service to the Mega Rockstar Suites, in line with Virgin standards and policies outlined in the operational manuals and People & Culture manual, by ensure personalized and prompt service to the sailors, and preventing and handling sailor issues.
The Super Talented candidate has a proven Walk-the-Walk & Talk-the-Talk record of delivering high quality service in a fast-paced Hotel and F&B operation with a sizable crew of different international and cultural backgrounds.
Essential Responsibilities:
o Responsible to ensure that all Mega Rockstar Sailors are provided outstanding and memorable service.
o Consistently exhibits and transmits the company's service culture, is polite, courteous, accommodating and displays a positive outlook and attitude at all times.
o Full knowledge of the Virgin Voyages product and services onobard.
o Knowledgeable in providing in suites F&B services, such as breakfast, lunch, dinner.
o Knowledgeable in mixology to be able to host in suite cocktail parties.
o Monitors Sailors satisfaction & feedback and acts on any complaints or requests.
o Keeps and maintains preferences of Sailors in order to provide a personalized service.
o Responsible to ensure prompt actions are taking regarding issues affecting sailor service.
o Communicates and act on all complaints onboard to Sailor Services Director.
o Must have the ability to deal with difficult situation and maintain a team spirit within the entourage team.
o Needs to ensure that all aspects of the in suite service meet the Virgin standards.
o Collaborates with the Cabin Host on the the daily duties and must report to the Executive Housekeeper any short falling regarding cleanliness and service provided.
o Meet and introduce her/himself to all the top category suites, VIP sailors, as well any other sailor occupying a Mega Rockstar suite.
o Participate in Mega Rockstar Sailor events, parties, and gatherings, as directed by management.
o The roadie is entirely responsible for the maintenance of the Mega Rockstar suites including the immediate surrounding areas.
o Responsible for the correct handling of work arising daily/per voyage/monthly according to Virgin Voyages standards.
o Monitor Work and Rest hours ensuring MLC guidelines are adhered to.
